Cedar Hollow Resort - What to know when visiting CHR

First steps when arriving! When you arrive at our resort, we ask you to stop by the office and check in with us! The office is in the house on the left as you arrive, and there are numerous signs showing our office and storefront area. We are almost always just steps away from the office and will leave instructions if we aren't there already.

When can I check in? We ask that check ins happen after 3pm and check outs at 10am. We try to accommodate everyone, so if you might be early just call! If you are late, we will gladly accommodate you and have your room ready, well lit, and ready to go!

What is your Cancellation Policy? If you have to cancel or otherwise change your plans for a planned stay, we can rebook you for another time, but we do not offer refunds on deposits. We collect deposits in January for the year, unless you have booked online. Then you have already paid your deposit. Call us anytime to make changes, earlier is better!

When are we open for season? We are open YEAR ROUND! Our "Off Season" is from October 1st to April 30. Any reservations outside of 'season' will have a discounted rate! You may need to call for an off season room, we often close off the rooms online for maintenance and upgrades.

How many units do you have available? We have 9 units all completely furnished, will sleep up to 6 guests, with varying rooms being available year round. 

What about the dock and water access? We have a 6 slip covered and powered dock. The slips are 10 feet wide and 24 feet deep. You can put your boat in at Hideaway Marina around the bend or at any established and approved access point. 

What do I need to Bring? Food if you are eating in, your preferred shampoos soaps and bathroom essentials, beach towels for the lake. Basic outdoor seating is available around the fire pit and in front of rooms. Rooms have dishware, cookware, silverware, shower towels and bed linens. The gas and charcoal grills are available with gas attached already. Just ask for charcoal.

Where is Cedar Hollow Resort? We are located at 2998 Buttermilk Spring Rd in Galena, Missouri.  Take highway 76 West from Reeds Spring to "Y" highway. Follow 8 miles to the split and bear right. About 3 miles on the left. Look for the sign. I suggest you google map the address and look at the aerial view, you will see we are right on the lake and in a great quiet cove.

How far do we have to go if we don't feel like cooking? 20 minutes away is Branson West and Reeds Spring, lots of great independently owned restaurants there. Cape Fair has an amazing restaurant called Flat Creek and that's 25-30 minutes away. Branson West has Pop's Smoke Shack, El Lago Mexican food, Casey's Pizza, and plenty of fast food options.

Can we buy ice or supplies at the resort? Yes! We keep a freezer full of ice, as well as worms and some tackle, canned soda and bottled water. We also stock a selection of Ice Cream Treats! We are always expanding our selection as we find local products to offer.

Is there Cable or Internet?  We have Starlink Internet Services and a  network around the resort that  works most of the time! Wifi is available in all of the rooms.
